Here are the same cabinets after being stained with ebony gel stain. Cabinets were then protected with 3 coats of polyurethane. We achieved a dramatic change with these cabinets for a cost that was much lower than installing new cabinetry.
Here is a kitchen that was improperly painted by a previous painter. It is a perfect example of what happens when you use a latex paint over oil based without properly preparing the surface. We removed the peeling Latex paint and primed before repainting all areas. Those walls will not peel again.
To achieve this beautiful finish we used a two tone finish. First, the door was stained with a base coat of red mahogany. The base coat was then protected with a coat of polyurethane. Once dry, accents were added with a second, darker stain to achieve the dual tone needed. The door was then protected with multiple coats of polyurethane which adds a nice shine and protects the door from damage in the future as well as making it easy to clean
Here we have some handrails that blended into other surrounding colors. Homeowner wanted these rails to stand out against the light colored walls.
